Silas Madden is a mission-driven executive leader with a proven record of building resilient organizations, guiding complex operations, and translating strategy into measurable human impact. A U.S. military veteran with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Mr. Madden brings disciplined leadership, systems thinking, and ethical stewardship to organizations dedicated to improving physical health outcomes and quality of life for vulnerable populations.

As a nonprofit COO, Mr. Madden applies a holistic, people-first approach to organizational leadership—treating health advocacy, education, access to care, and community support as interconnected systems. His leadership philosophy emphasizes prevention, early intervention, operational transparency, and long-term sustainability, particularly in areas affecting chronic and life-altering conditions such as kidney disease, diabetes, autism, and other physical and developmental health challenges.

Drawing on a background that blends operational leadership, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning, Mr. Madden has extensive experience aligning programs with governance requirements, donor expectations, and community needs. His prior roles required close coordination with multidisciplinary teams, public institutions, and stakeholders, fostering an ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining accountability and trust.

Mr. Madden is especially adept at building scalable frameworks that translate frontline realities into executive-level decision-making—ensuring that mission objectives, fiscal responsibility, and measurable outcomes remain aligned. His leadership style is grounded in service, integrity, and resilience, with a deep commitment to advocacy, education, and equitable access to resources for individuals and families affected by chronic health conditions.

As Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Madden is focused on strengthening organizational capacity, expanding partnerships, and advancing evidence-based initiatives that improve health outcomes, empower communities, and deliver lasting social impact.

For the past 14 years, Kenneth Baynes has served as the CFO-VP for BBS of America Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in various accounting and financial roles. I am the mother to Ray and Aaralyn, the wife to an active-duty US Navy Chief, a group fitness instructor, a personal trainer, and a native of Oxford, Alabama.  My professional experience includes work with adults and children with disabilities, older adults and people with chronic health conditions.  I have earned certifications in Group Exercise, Cycling, Les Mills Body Pump, Silver Sneakers (Classic and Stability), Nutrition, and Personal Training through American Council on Exercise (ACE).  My continuing education certifications include Adaptive Fitness Exercise Programming (ACE), Special Olympics Inclusive Fitness Training (ACE), Community Physical Activity Leader (ACE), Exercise and Parkinson’s (Silver Sneakers), and Leadership for Chronic Conditions and Disease (Silver Sneakers).  I am pursuing my degree in Interprofessional Health Sciences through Troy University Online, which includes minors in Community Health, Disabilites and Rehab Studies and Health Promotion.  I am a current member of the 2025/2026 class of Partners in Policy Making Alabama (PIPA), through which I am learning to work with State Lawmakers and disabilities advocates to achieve equality for people with disabilities. I am proud of the aforementioned accomplishments that qualify me to provide excellent services.  However, I believe my most notable credential is one I hold as mother to our special teenaged son, Ray.  Through my journey as Ray's Mom, I developed a passion to serve the most underserved populations. I have witnessed the health disparities; I have heard from our community professionals and health care providers.  I know that with compassion, commitment and current evidence-based programs, we can help older adults and people with disabilities achieve greater independence and health outcomes.  Everyone, regardless of ability and age, deserves the opportunity to succeed.
